things to know about the rope & harness course

This course is intended for adjusters who have the physical capacity to engage in accessing steep roof surfaces using specialized equipment and techniques.

There are no prerequisite courses for the Rope & Harness class.

CATI will provide all of the instructional material and equipment you need for this class. 

You should plan to bring:

  • Notebook
  • Pen/pencil and highlighter
  • Sturdy rubber soled boots (Cougar Paws or similar are preferred) to enable you to safely access a steep roof surface

This is a two-part training session designed to introduce the attendee to the basic concepts of working on Rope and Harness teams. Part I of the training is an online module that is available to the registrants through the Eberl Learning Center.   

Part II of the training is a required hands-on training session conducted at the Eberl Training Facility on an indoor roof mock-up.  

This course is not currently eligible for CE hours.
