things to know about the auto adjusting 101 course

This course is intended for emerging adjusters with little to no auto claim experience or experienced adjusters wishing to cross-train to the auto line of business.

There are no prerequisite courses for the Auto Adjusting 101 course. 

ON-DEMAND PRE-WORK

In order to maximize training time in the auto lab at CATI, we have prepared several hours of on-demand pre-work courses that must be completed prior to your in-person class. You will receive additional information regarding your pre-work assignments after you register.

COMPUTER PROFICIENCY

Use of a computer is an essential part of the work of an adjuster, and of this class. We assume our students will come with computer proficiency. It is essential you are able to perform functions such as the following before coming to class:

  • Log in, send and receive email from your personal or business account
  • Attach files to email
  • Create folders to save files and images on your desktop
  • Upload photos from a camera or phone to a folder on your desktop

CATI will provide all of the instructional material and equipment you need for this class. 

You should plan to bring:

  • Notebook
  • Pen/pencil and highlighter

You will be attending class in our state-of-the-art auto lab and completing training on one of CATI’s computers. A temporary Audatex license will be available for you to use in class.
