CATI is committed to the health and safety of all our students and instructors during the COVID-19 crisis.

While we’ll make every effort to maintain our class schedule, with rapidly changing circumstances on the ground, our calendar may have to change with little notice. Please contact us before you register for class for the most up to date plans.

We’ve made much of our training available online, and continue to roll out day-long and 1-hour CEs to meet your developmental needs virtually.

For training held in-person at our facility, compliance with all federal, state and local guidelines in place at the time of your class is paramount to ensure everyone’s safety. To assist us in doing all we can to provide for everyone’s safety at our facility, please make note of the following expectations.

What CATI will do:

  • All training that can be provided virtually will be delivered online via Zoom. Essential in-person classroom activities will be held at our facility, observing enhanced social distancing and sanitation protocols.
  • CATI will provide a safe and sanitary facility. Our housekeeping team will disinfect all spaces utilized in our facility daily, including kitchen, restroom, classroom, mockup, and other common spaces as needed. Instructors will periodically wipe down frequently touched surfaces throughout the day with disinfectants.
  • Our student numbers will be limited, and classrooms will be configured for seating with 6-foot distancing between students.
  • Instructors will wear masks or cloth face coverings while with students.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers are located throughout the building.

What CATI asks you to do:

  • If you are showing any signs or symptoms of any illness, out of respect for containment and the safety of others, we ask that you not come to the school. Please call us to reschedule your class or exam.
  • Student temperatures will be taken upon arrival using a non-contact thermometer and in a manner which respects your privacy. If you have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or greater, we will ask you not to enter the building.
  • While you are at the CATI facility, if we notice at any time that you appear to be displaying symptoms, we will address this with you and may ask you to leave the building.
  • If it is necessary for you to stay away from the building, we will do whatever is feasible to permit you to continue your learning experience, including the possibility of participating via Zoom.
  • Keeping in mind that the virus may be spread by individuals with no visible symptoms, we require that all students wear a mask or other cloth face covering which meets CDC recommendations while training inside our facility. CATI will not be providing masks, so please come prepared with your own.
  • Please wash your hands frequently with soap, for at least 20 seconds. When not possible to wash your hands, please use the hand sanitizer available throughout the building until you are able to wash with soap and water.
  • Please avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth and avoid touching other surfaces before you have washed your hands.
  • As much as possible, please respect the 6-foot social distance recommendations issued by the CDC and facilitated in our classrooms and other common areas.
